Summary: Just a peaceful day for Kara and Cassie.
Kara smiled softly as she massaged Cassie’s aching feet. As Kara tenderly worked the aches and pains of the day out of those lovely feet, Cassie sighed like a contented kitten.
“Thanks . . .”
“My pleasure,” Kara replied, her smile turning mischievous as she laid a teasing kiss on Cassie’s foot.
Cassie let out a sound somewhere between a giggle and a purr. “What are you up to, Kara?”
Kara pouted in mock hurt. “Can’t I take care of you without you thinking I’m up to something?”
“No,” Cassie answered with an impish smirk. “With you, ‘taking care of me’ always turns into ‘ripping off my clothes and having your wicked way with me.’”
“You like it, though,” Kara purred.
“Yeah,” Cassie admitted, just before pulling Kara up so that their faces were almost touching. She wrapped her arms around her girlfriend and held her close. “Right now, though, can we just stay like this?”
Kara gently brushed away a lock of Cassie’s hair. “Sure. That’d be nice, too.”
Cassie kissed Kara briefly on the lips. “Love you, Kara.”
“Love you, too, Cassie.”
