Hello humans!
Well I guess this post signals that I'm back and stuff. Europe trip was great but I'm not here to talk about that.
I'm here to say MERRY SEXMAS and tell you about what the holiday season has in store for me.
Jojo moved out a week or two ago and Hayden and I have remodelled and played domestic kittens.
On saturday we drove out to Penriff and cut down our own giant xmas tree from a tree farm. Last night we decorated it together and made our own brandy custard from scratch with the proper scraped down vanilla bean and everything.
Its the best thing you'll never taste, because its all for us.
Well, some of it was for Hayden on his mini panetone dessert last night and a little bit has been kept aside for me to have on my sugarfree xmas pud and the rest is for the merry mango trfile I'm making for Hayden's dad as we are spending boxing day with him and miss Amber.
Tonight we're going to the belgian beer cafe for mussels (1/2 price, woo!) and my favouritest ever - APPLE BEER! Its only a half day at work today so at lunch time I'lll be heading off to BJ DJs to get fresh giant figs to put with the cheese platter I am taking to my mum's tomorrow. It will be my Squangus' first xmas and very very speshl :)
27th I have 2 of my lovely ladies visiting me for afternoon tea - champagne in teapots and treats from Europe, then on the 28th is our late afternoon BBQ Picnic at Malabar. The more the merrier, so give me a shout if you're interested in joining us!!
NYE we'll be hopping about a few parties in the Petersham area before heading to The Black Butterfly Ball, so will hopefully run into a few of you out and about.
Signing off, wishing you a safe and happy xmas, and all the best for the new year!!
XoX
