Yeah really...I feel like I just got out of prison. Anyway the 760 crack house is no more. It was fun at first, but then after all the parties, shit getting stolen, Ina's dog shitting and pissing everywhere, the sink exploding, no hot water, and people not paying rent, I figured it was time to end the lease and save my sanity early. Luckily my neighbors Ever and Sam were nice enough to let me store all of my shit in their garage until I find a place with my horrible credit (I'm almost afraid of how that will turn out). For the next few days, I decided to get a hotel room on Broadway and then I will be staying with Funeral Adam in his New Jack City loft in Lodo. Speaking of Which, the show in San Diego went really well and we were all about ready to kill each other after being in a van for 17 hours both ways. The wharehouse party ended right after our set because of some stupid drunk Australians who decided they wanted to play some tunes with our equipment. Apparently one of them tried to grab my $1200 bass and then the bouncer stepped in and asked them to leave which then started a huge brawl and then the party ended. Of course I missed all of this because I was too busy being my usual drunk flirty self at the bar. Fuck it, at least we got to play our set. I would have been pissed if we drove all that way for nothing. After the show, we decided to drive up to LA being that it was pretty much a given at this point, that I was not going to be able to get to work on time the next day. We spent the entire drive up to LA laughing so hard that I was getting stomach ulcers. Perhaps the LOG sized blunt that Adam rolled had a part to play in this hysteria of laughter, especially when we reached the point of doing impressions and making fun of everyone we met in San Diego. Besides that....yes...I'm a homeless 32 year old with money right now. If anyone has any ideas where to look for a decent apartment, let me know.....and fucking A....I really need to update my profile and get some new pics of myself that are more recent than 6 months ago.
I pasted this from my myspace blog, but yeah...for those that don't know, about a month ago, I started playing bass in a pretty well known Denver band called
The Funeral. We haven't recorded anything new since I started playing with Adam (the vocalist), but the music on the site is more electro versions of the songs we play live. We're currently working on new stuff which will give me more room to help write some of the music since that is what I enjoy most. So far they've been fun to play with.
