Spaceship Moon

Yes...I know I recently ranted about him before, but my sister's husband and I actually do have SOME things in common. We both share the same political views and we don't exactly trust our government. However, John tends to take the conspiracy shit a bit too far almost to the point that I often have to question his paranoia as being a state of ( Read more... )

Ok well I deleted the post earlier and started retyping shit and of course got distracted by something else like I always tend to and came back, so my post is below this one...oh well.

I'm glad I amuse you with my rational thinking and my acceptance of the value of years upon years of scientific research -- all subject to public review and independent verification of both data and conclusions -- over the half-baked ravings of a few paranoid and delusional weirdos on the fringe.

Dayv this exactly what I'm talking about below...please reread. I think you are putting too much pride and value into something you've invested some time in which is perfectly fine, but then to turn around and place judgement on some people with some legitimate claims who have also done years of research and putting them into the "smoking too much dope" category is nothing more than the usual cop out that I would expect from you. you probably don't even know anything about this one particular author that I was referring to either.

I want to see you overcome these intelligence-killing lies before it's too late.

The same could be said about you Dayv.

Sometimes the public story is a lie, sometimes it isn't, sometimes the conspiracy theory holds a bit (or more) of truth, sometimes it's more wrong than the explanation it seeks to replace.

Right...I think I have acknowledged this before. It's called a balance.

It's bad to latch on to an alternative simply because it sounds awesome and it makes you feel like you're one of the lucky few to have seen the truth that is hidden away from most of the poor saps around you.

It has nothing to do with latching onto anything, that is exactly what I am not about. I don't latch on to one idea or one theory. I believe I made it clear in a past post that I think many beliefs, etc are all connected in some way whether it's viewed as traditional or cutting-edge, but there is also distortion in a lot of things as well including science. I think what you view as science is something I view as going even further into realms that people have a hard time accepting..and that's perfectly fine. I don't view people as poor saps and I am one fo the lucky few, I have tried to stress that I believe all of us as humans are capable of doing so much more with our bodies and minds that to many, would be seen as "impossible" just like certain ideas in the past were and later proven to be "possible".

Look my attitude is I think people should think for themselves and come to their own conclusions whether you or anyone else thinks I am some paranoid nut or not..I don't think that I am. I do things such as meditation and other health oriented things to keep mind and body connected to everything that I believe is infinite and that tends to work really well for me.

How do you know that "there isn't much about [the moon] that is natural?"

I'm sure there are natural and unnatural things about the moon which is what the author later gets into. I'm not writing from everything based off this one author though. And look it has nothing to do with wanting something to be true.

When you have certain things that a family member was involved in which seem to be having an affect on them now, maybe you would understand things a little better Dayv. There is a reason why I mentioned my Stepfather and it had nothing to do with showing him off in anyway and what he was involved in. Maybe this will give a clearer picture.

I worry about the same thing with you. I'm not trying to be condescending or insulting, though I know it probably seems like it; I seriously have had the exact same thought about your "hidden truths" mindset that you express here about John's.

Well part of that was really just me venting about some buttons he pushed with me recently. Look there are hidden truths out there whether you want to keep a blind eye to it or not, but I don't think I obsess over it in a negative way. If I think there are things people should know about or be concerned with because it effects people directly or maybe it will help our existence here on Earth, I will mention it and let people run with it however they want even if it seems like made up fantasy.
