Time to reveal all. I got into College today!
Let me explain. For the last month or so ive been looking into an access course to higher Education, which is the course that gets you into University.
I would like to become a social worker, to help children.
I went to many information sessions, and finally 3 weeks ago got an interview time for college. I needed to complete an essay. also I needed to enrole onto the maths and english skills for life course which is a requirment of getting onto the access course. After 3 weeks of worrying that i wouldnt get in, I can now relax.
My interview was at 10:45 this morning, the lecturer was lovely.
He was very impressed with my essay. and gave me a conditional offer, that as long as i pass the maths and english, i will become a full time student at college. Then after the 1 year full time course, I will go on to do a 3 year full time degree at university.
This is a huge deal for me as it means I will be in full time Education for the next 4 years! Also it would mean a great career path for me.
I have 1 person to thank for this. Matthew.
Matt has been so unbelieveably supportive of me, He said that he could afford to support the both of us, and that he would be there for me through these next 4 years with all the help he can give.
I love him so much.
