alright, so.... been playing lots of pool lately... at least twice a week.
I've found that I'm only as good as the person I'm playing against. I can keep up with the best, and I still take 30 minutes a game with the friends who are not so great.
In other recent news, the semester is over, and for once I actually stuck it out to the end. Top scores in two of my classes. Amazing how easy it is when I actually apply myself. Err.... alright, maybe not apply myself so much as just showing up to all the classes.
Also, I'm in the market for a new car. Not necessarily a new new car, but a new to me car.
I'm looking for something either recent with good gas mileage, low miles, and a/c.. and it needs to look good (not easy to find with my tastes)... or something that would just be awesome to have. So far I've been looking at a 1950's Ford Fairlane and a 1970's VW Karmann Ghia, or I'd also love another 4th gen El Camino, but this one has to have working a/c and the swivel bucket seats (though one of those would prolly be more like $4k). maybe I should also mention that my price range is somewhere around $3k. Maybe I should just get a hearse like the 1960's one I was looking at when I was looking for my first car. Suggestions welcome.
