Greetings from "damn-it, why is it so hot when it's already October!" Southern California. I'm sure most people in the States have heard, but there've been a lot of brush fires these past few days in Southern California. And apparently most of them are arson (・_・;). None are especially near where I live, but Malibu Canyon was along one of my favorite driving routes. Malibu Canyon connects from 101 freeway to Pacific Coast Highway. Actually, Santiago Canyon, Camp Pendleton, Cajon, a lot of the fires I know the area. It's an odd feeling to actually be familiar with plcaes in the news huh?...
My prayers that none of you guys are affected by these fires (・・).
Speaking of driving, last friday there was a huge crash not so far from where I live, and my mother thought I may have been involved and started calling around to locate me (to make things worse, I was asleep when she called). Sorry Mom! It must be in our genes to over-worry based on scanty news information. When there was news about an unidentified woman's body being found, I panicked and called my friend who was out in that area -to which she was fondly amused at XD
btw, the crash I just mentioned, apparently there are people who were involved in the crash who left the scene. They're sure these people were present and and that they weren't killed at the crash, but they somehow disappeared from the scene. Weird...
Poor JackJack... (*group with Aoki Kenji, Kato Ryosuke, Shinoda Mitsuyoshi from Tenimyu). Aoki Kenji was recently involved in a scandal. Press is press... they won't leave him or the other group members alone, which has resulted in some events they were supposed to have joined being cancelled. Yes he did a bad thing, but it was a mistake from his past. Let him go already!
(btw, does my adding "-san" and "-kun" to people's names annoy anyone? (ex. "Wada-kun")).
↑ from the movie "Itsuka no Kimi e". I absolutely love this movie! This is just the SWEETEST movie ever!! (;▽;). Won't spoil anything here. But I highly recommend it! (now hurry up and send me my DVD YesAsia!)
....wait, what's with the somber mood even though that's not my true mood, me?! (*slaps self). Walk at your own pace, sometimes stop to feel the wind, so the phrase goes :D. I hope everybody's doing okay too～
