two horrifying poems

Mary Shelley’s Monster

Lay down your arms as I do

And share this food as we used to

We’ll watch lesbians fuck as we should have

I’ll teach you to cook stuffed baked crabs.

Monster claw your way past Dante’s bedroom.

Only God’s muscles seize the smile of day

Opening for the geographic of man,

The complexity of the heart’s design

Pours like hopeful rain kissing the earth

Staining the dawn.

Righting the wrong.

Chap Lips

Her bare round bottom followed her

Into his bathroom.

“What are you doing?” He asked.

“I’m using your lip balm.” She answered.

He walked out.

“I use that on my hemorrhoids.” He said.

The jar of balm fell onto the blue and green bathroom tiles.

“You should have asked first.” He said.

Her shiny lips trembled.
