2months
Two months since I've written anything. Happy New Year, Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, Yule, or anything else I've forgotten.
Things are good. Had a nice visit with Shelly's family in Missouri for Christmas. That was a nice week away from the usual getting up, going to work and coming home and sitting on my ass.
What's happened in the last 2 months that I can remember. Still don't have my bike back from the shop. I have seen it, and it looks better than new. I guess when they were putting everything back together, the rear break cylinder broke and they were waiting to hear back from the insurance company about that. Whatever, it they want to keep it until April for me, that's fine with me.
I got re-elected president of our CMA chapter. I guess I must not have done too bad of a job.
I'm sick of all the snow already, and the cold. I really don't want to see this months gas bill. If electrice was $60, can't imagine what gas is going to be.
Got a flat tire and, after I got it repaired (for free because when Shelly got a flat in that same time, she was a smart monkey and bought the road hazzard protection), they told me that my front two tires were in need of being replaced. That hurt. I don't exactly have cheap tires on my car.
Work is good. Things are starting to settle down for now. We've had some changes, for the better and worse. I think things are going to be fine, even in this crappy economy. But hey, in 10 days, the worlds going to be a better place. Right? That's what I was promised.
