June 22nd of this year was a Wednesday. I did not take the day off, nor was I out of town. Union Square is one block from where I work.
How did I miss this??

EDIT: The article refers to Union Square as being in downtown New York. Which is funny, because to me, downtown starts somewhere in the single-digit numbers, if not south of that. When I think of downtown, I think of skyscrapers and Wall Street... Union Square is definitely not midtown, either though. When I think of midtown, I think of skyscrapers and Times Square... Personally, I feel like I work and live in an in-between zone.
