Show 'n' Tell Time
Today I was in a very dull 4-hour meeting. Fortunately, I had pen and paper to keep myself from falling asleep. (Kendell and I were up until 3:45 AM this morning getting back from Key West; of which, more later, from one or the other of us.)
In four hours' time, you can make a lot of doodles; but here are the two I'm proudest of. They're by no means perfect; but hey, I was working with ballpoint pen on legal-pad paper.
Alas, you can't really see her right eye's pupil in this oh-so-faithful scanned image, but trust me, it's there.
As I was drawing the second one, I got what may be the best compliment I've ever received for a drawing. The guy next to me looked at it and said, "I think I'm in love."
