Wonderful Valentine's date

Work was a bit crazy last week, lots of translations to do for a trainning they will be providing for call center. And it calmed down since Friday so right now I've got free time. I had my first Portuguese test on Saturday, I think it was good, it was like the exercises we've done in class, so nothing we didn't know about. And they I just came back home to stay away from the traffic chaos due to the Pope visit. I watched telly all afternoon long, some IT Crowd, some Gilmore Girls and I finished a book.

And then on Sunday, my boyfriend got out of school one hour earlier, so it was absolutely perfect for us. In the end, he came pick me up, we decided it was going to be very difficult for me to go out and meet him all the way up North because of the closures, so he came down to the South. I gave him a new route and he made 40 minutes. We went to have some lunch and then watched 'Pride, Prejudice and Zombies'. I loved the movie, is so crazy and ridiculous that it was truly amazing, and far more entertaining than the one without Zombies. We had a great time, we laughed a lot.
And to end the day, we had a romantic dinner at an Italian restaurant near my house. We shared a pasta with chicken. I gave him some chocolates and a book, and he gave me a Toffee Nut syrup, flowers and a mini dalek.

I spent five hours yesterday in the clinic, waiting for a doctor to see me. Since I have an afternoon shift, they can't see me before 14. But if you don't have an appointment, you have to get there at 11 to start queueing up, so yeah, it took a while. I got the doctor's note saying I have migraines and in case of severe crisis I should go to Emergencies. But that was all the doctor could give me. For them, because of the way the administration is arranged, they can't give out a note saying migraines need me to stay at home for a day. They only way they can hand out a note for work is if I show up with a migraine either to the clinic or to emergencies. This is obviously not going to happen, as I can't get up from my bed, let alone get dressed and go to emergencies. I would have to be really, really bad for me to go to a hospital. Otherwise, I can manage them at home perfectly well. Anyway, I've got the note, and I've let my boss know, so now he can have a document from our Healtcare system, as well as from my private doctor, which I handed over a month ago. I hope this will be enough for them. I don't know what else I could probably give them regarding my migraines problem.
