Strawberry Hill

There is such a place in London. Fare zone 5 in case you were wondering. You can get there from Waterloo, on a train that looks extremely ancient and that takes almost 40 minutes to get there. But, I think it was quite worthy of a visit. It's the house of Horace Walpole, and they are restoring it now, so they only have like 4 rooms finished, out of all of them, it's a work in process, and I imagine it'll be amazing once it's done.
The house used to belong to St. Mary's college, which is just next to it, so there was a time where the house and the college were one and the same.
It's quite a trip. If you're ever in London and want to see something differnt from the usual tourist spots. There's not that many tourists in Strawberry Hill.

That white tower is the only thing you can see while approaching the house form the street. They've got amazing gardens and the picture below is how the house looks now that is being restored. All the white part is the house, and the tiny grey building you can barely see is where St. Mary's college starts.
