Warriors: Fire and Ice

I finished it right before leaving for my Aikido class (which I'll write about tomorrow, because I just came to realise that it makes me truly happy). And, like it happened with the first book. It left me so very happy. I still love reading about cats, it's fun because since I have one at home, it's inevitable to imagine her when the book describe their moves. How they hunt, how they get down and start moving their tails, how they lick themselves... it's lovely.
And well, it does have a resemblance to book one, there are some things that read alike, like when the kittens get lost, although the circumstances are different. And the battle between clans, which always end with the Thunder Clan winning (but then again, that comes as no surprise, after all, it's our main clan given our hero lives there).
But there were others things that I not see coming.  I knew the Thunderpath was going to hurt someone sooner or later, that many mentions of it couldn't hold anything good and yes... something really bad happens, I almost cried because it's sad. :(
I loved Cinderpaw spirits, she seems feisty. There's love now in this book, love that will bring so many, many problems later on. We learn a secret from Yellowfang that made me yell because I did NOT see that coming. And... there's a new addition to the clan that made me smile to no end, but I don't wanna go into much detail, might there be someone out there who hasn't read it and I wouldn't want to spoil it.
It did not surprise me as much as the first book because you expect certain things now, you know the characters and well, I'm reading the second book because I really enjoyed the first, not because I'm expected to be amazed, there's never nothing like the first book a series. Expect maybe in Harry Potter, the third's my favourite. :D
And... I'm also reading them in Spanish, so to be able to write about them here, I needed to check some names in English and I realised... I like them so much better in Spanish! They sound better for some reason. :P It's weird really, usually I rather read books in their original languages, specially if they are in English, but this series.... Corazón de Fuego sounds so much better than Firepaw in my head, they sound so much more... courageous and appropriate.  It might just be this series.
Problem is... since I'm reading translations, when I went to buy the second book the guy at the bookstore told me it was a trilogy but that they only had two on store. Then I told him, "no, they are six book plus subseries" he was so shocked that looked it up, but he could only find the third one in Spanish, no more. So... I might have to end up reading the rest in English... if I can get my hands on them. I'll even search as e-book, because I really want to keep reading.
Oh well, I better stop my ranting, I need to sleep, I ended up so tired from my class to write anything else. I just really like to write about the books I read right when I finish them, and I don't like mixing them with other things. :D
Tomorrow I'll write about the last couple of days.
Good night everyone!
