wow, you do Kyudo?
I was hoping that I could do it while I'm in Japan, but the Junior High School I teach at doesn't have Kyudo as a club activity...

Yeah, I've been doing it for a couple of years I think... wow, time goes fast.
Maybe you should try to look for an independent dojo, there must be some around. :)

I'm transfering to a new Junior High School to teach in April, so hopefully they have a club there and I can join in! Plus my new school is closer to the city, so it would be more convenient to find a nearby dojo that I can go after work!

Boo for the migraines. :( They are the worst. Do you have medication for it when you feel it coming on? I usually pop an excedrin extra strength and it more often than not just allows it to be a regular bad headache than a lay me out migraine.

Yay for bookstores! I was surprised when I heard from another friend in Mexico how expensive books are. Definitely better to collect paper books now while you still can. ;) Sounds like you picked up a couple good ones.

Yeah, they're horrible. I also have an excedrin extra strenght or a tylenol for migraines, usually they tone it down to a normal headache. But every once in a while nothing will work.

I don't understand why they are so expensive here and not so much in the US, it's a mystery.

How much did you end up spending on the books you got? I mean, sure, hardcovers are expensive, but it's not horrible. I do believe Australia, I heard from another friend, books are crazy expensive there as well. I was super surprised!

I ended up spending 390 pesos (which is about 30 dollars) and that because I had a discount. they were both paperbacks, it wasn't terribly expensive, but I thought it would be less, like 20 dollars or so.
