Sixth Missive

I must admit, I was more than a little unnerved by the idea of settling...certain things via a simple game of checkers. However, while the outcome was not entirely as I had hoped it would be, I am quite satisfied with the results of the first game played today. At least things now have returned to what they were, more or less.

As for the second game, I shall simply have to continue my efforts in that respect. What is left unsatisfactory today may yet be resolved with patience, diligence, and continued effort.
