Crime Lab--Day ...ugh. Who cares what day it is? I don't...
(I don't feel like doing the math to figure out what day it is.. sorry guys... I'm LAZY!!)
Thanks to Perky for reminding me that I haven't updated in a while...
So.. life at the crime lab is going pretty swell (yes, I DID just use the word "swell.." get over it).
We were supposed to go to court yesterday... and I was TOTALLY excited, but the guy decided to give a guilty plea, so no testimony from us was needed. Ahbooooo!
My project is going decently well. There are a few bumps along the way, but I'm working through them. The biggest bump is that I'm almost out of the supplies I need to do the project. They can't order more til July 1. They take weeks to come in. Thanks for planning ahead, guys. I may have to find another project to work on. Ahboooo! again!
I do have a second project, but that one requires the one instrument that is currently used to analyze evidence. Great. We just got some evidence. No project for me. Oh well. I'll find something to do.
Outside of the lab... I've been working on some wedding stuff. I have a prototype of what I think would be a nice design for the invitations. We'll see if Alex likes it (he's coming to visit me in MN this weekend! Yay!). I've been doing the same for save-the-dates... again, we'll see if he likes them. I've been trying to figure out wording for all these things, too. If anyone has good invitation writing skills, please let me know.
Let's see... what else...
I went for a bike ride today that kicked my ass. Yay! Apparently, the people of Lindstrom aren't used to seeing bikes on the road... I got honked at. :( Not cool, guys... not cool. I also discovered that people wouldn't let me cross the road on my bike... but if I got off my bike and stood in the crosswalk, traffic stopped for me. ...There are some straaaaange people up here. Go Minnesota...
I found a really cute little park during my travels. I'm going to take Alex there this weekend!
We have TONS of people to see this weekend... I'm excited!

-Alex's newlywed cousin, Ryan, and his wife, Kristen
-Alex's old neighbor, Andy
-Alex's old roommate, Bryan, and his fiance, Sarah.
Yay for having people to see!
We're going to go on an adventure with Ryan and Kristen tomorrow to find Minnehaha Falls... This time, I'll have my moo to protect me from spiders and falling trees. I'll update you guys later.
Back to wedding stuff: I think I facebooked almost everyone asking for some basic information. If you haven't responded yet, or if I somehow forgot to send you a memo about it, please respond! I need addresses, phone numbers, and emails for our database! :)
