this actually has no emo subtext to it, believe it or not. It's just a cool thing to see every day.
Every week, I have two hours of TOK, which, according to my teacher, is a course in epistemology. Every Monday and Friday, when I walk into his room for TOK lessons, I always notice the bulletin board right across from where I sit.
On that board are many little postcard-sized posters with inspirational phrases and little comics that encourage thinking outside the box, reading, being knowledgeable while at the same time questioning the knowledge.
One little notecard on that board in particular always stands out for me. I always seem to stare at it during every lesson, whether I want to or not. It's got a bright green background, and in white letters over it, it says:
"If you're happy and you know it you're unusual."
