HEY GUYS FALSE ALARM HIATUS
so I'm in Mexican Jewtown today and am marvelling at driving on the left side of the road and the fantastic city names in NJ that seem to always slip my mind. (Ho-Ho-Kus and Mahwah are among my favorites.)
I have bought $150 in art supplies (with a student discount and like everything on sale, sigh) for art camp. And I still need to buy paint and brushes. @_@ Turns out I will have Internet access there and might be able to drop in online for a little bit per day and just catch up on stuff and do a few replies RP-wise here and there.
I have a new laptop to replace the fried one, and holy damn is it nice. It's got Vista, and no Microsoft Office, but whatever. IT'S AWESOME. And I think it holds 320GB. Hot damn.
I also have one of the DP video games--Ultimate Enemy. I haven't played too much of it yet, but it seems pretty interesting so far, even though it took me like 5 minutes to figure out how to go through walls (which is the same as regular running--you just press the button intermittently.) Of course, I suck at playing it because to do all the cool serious-damage moves, you have to do crazy button combos that I can't remember. And the flying levels SUCK. AUGH.
Oh yeah, and there are thunderstorms. There was a huge one last night that kept our plane up in the air for like an hour, and there's supposed to be one tonight. I am so psyched.
