May 1st, 2009.

12th Grade Friday.

And so the young students scurried about in terror and fear.

Seniors have their last day of school the last week of April/first week of May. After that, they're let out and stay at home, studying for a month and a half to prepare for their final exams in June.

To celebrate having gotten through the IB thus far without failing, and to have their last bit of fun before the true Exam Crackdown (senioritis, it does not exist in Europe), it's a school-established tradition for the 12th graders to spend their last day essentially trolling the whole school.

This year, it was a Disney theme, so we had a Woody, Simba, and the entire cast from Alice in Wonderland. They boomed out Disney songs all day. They put Vaseline on every door handle/locker/staircase banister. They first locked and duct taped the student entrance. Then they unlocked it and stinkbombed it (along with the bathrooms). They took about 12 kids hostage in the middle of their lessons and dumped them into various bathrooms, locking them in either a stinkbomb'd or water balloon'd bathroom. They also stole all the clocks and scared a hell of a lot of random passersby. XD

The 2008 12G Friday group had a theme of Austin Powers/300 cosplay (although they're not big enough dorks to call it that--but let me tell you, these kids are really damn good with their costumes). They also locked the student door and didn't let anyone in until we were late. But. The Spartans (who were actually half-naked with helmets and spears) did run through all the hallways of the schools, effectively making everyone shit themselves.

Also, because the 6-10 and 11-12 grade campuses are 10 minutes apart, separated by a major central street? The Spartans did an epic choreographed dance in the middle of the street. Also, they started the "steal the clock" trend, and they mismatched all keyboards and mouses in the library/tech labs so that you could never control the right computer. XD I have to say, that's hard to beat.

Also, prepare for iconpost and epic art/photodump.

12th grade friday, cannot wait to be a senior
