Helping Hand

(ooc: Since no one has come to the dear Lycan's rescue in the Game...)

He was concerned about Lucian, the lycan leader had been gone for far too long. Michael knew their relationship was still a budding one - espeically for him - and he knew he hadn't known Lucian very long, but the American was beginning to realize he was growing attached to the bearded man and Michael was worried.

So after one last look at his watch, Michael decided to go looking for Lucian, he had faint idea where to look as the newly born hybrid found his way into the Pest and followed his instinct from there.

Michael was idly walking, just letting his 'Feelings' guide his feet. He smiled faintly, Katt would be pleased with him. It was then the hybrid doctor picked up the faint scent of blood, his senses prickeling as he felt Lucian was near by. The newly born hybrid stopped walking, closed his eyes and simply concentrated, like he'd done down in the tunnels after the fight with the vampire lord, feeling all immortals around him. He could feel the vampires not that far off, he could feel another lycan nearby but most importantly he could feel Lucian.

Black within black eyes snapped open as he turned his head in the direction of abandoned ware houses and the hybrid jogged off to follow his senses. It didn't take long to hone in on the smell of fresh blood and burned flesh as Michael followed the now trail of blood spatters into a building. When he stepped inside his eyes adjusted immediatly upon the shivering, trembling form of, "LUCIAN!"

The doctor was beside the lycan leader in seconds as he slid to a halt and plopped down upon his knees and gently cradled the man in his arms. The smell of burned flesh was almost gagging as he found the silver dagger still embedded in Lucian's shoulder. Memories of Selene's lecture about toxicity of silver to lycans had him yanking the bladed instrument from Lucian's body before he automatically clamped his hand over the awful wound.

"Lucian! I'm here, you're safe." the American gave a weak grin to the bearded man as he prayed his friend and new found lover would be alright.
