Transferrring credits

Nov 06, 2010 11:02

Hey everyone!

I took a year off from UW and during that time I took a few courses in a community college. How would I go about transferring those credits? I'm currently a junior. I looked at the website but all the info I found is how to transfer credits when one's applying as a transfer student, but I would be applying as a returning student....

Part of the returning student process should be submitting a transcript of any credits done while away, and those will automatically be processed.

Actually, it's 100% true because I just looked at the returning student application and at the bottom it tells you to attach all transcripts :)

Wow you sound so bitter. Not sure what experience you had, but obviously you didn't use the same returning student application they have now, since you missed the VERY CLEAR "attach transcripts" part.

Thanks for the concern but don't worry, I'm sure I'll have absolutely NO problems coming back to "real school" (what an ignorant statement). This is considering I went to UW for three years, had great grades, and didn't leave because they "kicked me out" or because of my academic performance.

Thank you for the nice reply :)

And I think you are right about that. Thankfully, I only took classes that were on the equivalency sheet (online) so that I could transfer them easily and apply them to my majors. I do know UW is always changing things, though, so I need to reapply ASAP!
