Riddle me this, Rex Reed.
Finally saw Rosemary's Baby (1968) in its entirety (as opposed to chopped up on over-the-air TV) at a midnight movie.
I actually liked it, although the ending could've been tightened up a bit.
I did not like the director's (Roman Polanski; and gee, hasn't his name popped up in the "current events" folder recently....) other notable straight horror movies, Repulsion (1965) and The Tenant (1977). (I'm largely indifferent to his horror comedy, The Fearless Vampire Killers, or, Pardon Me, But Your Teeth Are in My Neck [1967].)
