Y'know
that entry about Bob Seger's new album, Face the Promise, that I just posted? About how I was surprised that it included an anti-Iraq war song, "No More"?
I just got an even bigger, more ominous surprise:
When I ripped the CD to my computer using Yahoo's MusicMatch software (which I've ranted about
a time or two previously...), all the songs transferred just fine -- except for "No More".
I had to go back in and manually select "No More" in order to copy it to my PC.
Yes, yes, MusicMatch's "peculiar ways" are legion and damnably inscrutable; I've encountered this very same glitch err, "wild card feature" before.
But how likely is it that this "no seeum / no copyem" crap happens on an album's one song that is at odds with Bush "43's" Iraq policy?
AWWWK. Maybe I'd better buy some extra aluminum foil today. Y'know; for my thought-blocking helmet.
Doo-doo-doo-doo, Doo-doo-doo-doo....
