Quantum of Solace
Yesterday after doing a bit of shopping in the nice non-wet day we had, I decided to go and see Quantum of Solace, bar the kids at the back of the room, whom clearly where skipping school, it was a good movie
The none spoiler review would read something like this (if I did reviews that is):-
A good movie for people whom like action movies, a lot darker than the ‘classic’ bonds, which makes it feel a lot more real. In some ways some of the charm of the classics has gone, but repeating the same mix is a good way to make dull shows.
The Spoiler Review:-
Missing some big elements really… where did the baddy tell bond his plans, it skips some important bits, to keep the (12) rating I think, and no iam not talking about the sex I am, pondering why you see bond capture the big baddy and they it skips to bond letting him go… I wanted to see bond ‘get the information’… mostly because it’s a classic moment for the whole baddy telling bond all his plans part.
Though I liked the quick and horridness of the fights, even the first chance when they cutting to people whom have been hurt by bond and the rouge agent set the movie as something above other bonds..
So in all I think it’s a good dark action movie, but not something for a quick laugh, but not one I am going to race to the shops to get on DVD. Unlike say Iron Man
