My randomized inspirations (thanks to the amazing jsfunction!):

1. Random character: Lucas Scott (One Tree Hill) Pretty straightforward, I made an icon from a screencap from the pilot episode. I wanted to try a more complex design but I didn't like how the green borders showed up in my alternate icon.
2. Random icontest challege: Challenge 266: Yellow @ disney_hush → Pretty straightforward as well, found this photo on Jennifer Aniston dressed in yellow, so I added to this with some coloring and textures.
3. Random praise: "I like the simplicity of this icon and the way negative space is used."→ I focused heavily on both those aspects in this icon: sober coloring and a lot of negative space.
4. Random screencap: The Good Place → I found this a pretty fun screencaps to transform into an icon, although coloring it was not easy.
5. Random song: E-Type - Russian Lullaby→ This song was a trip lol! Decided to focus on the title and grabbed a Russian character (Anastasia from Anastasi.) and tried to make it appear as if she was sleeping.
6. Random tutorial: Tutorial by ameliafolder → I love love love this tutorial! I specifically used the creating of the background as created in the original icon. This is definitely a tutorial I will use more often!
7. Random movie poster: The Blue Bird (1976)→ I had never heard of this film so that was fun. I focused on the bird and placing something "behind" it, and I think I succeeded!
8. Random quote: "Discipline Your Mind to Think Positively: Discipline your mind to see the good in every situation and look on the best side of every event." - Roy T. Bennett, The Light in the Heart → I decided I had to go with the one of the most optimistic character I know: Rebecca Pearson. Tried to bring some optimism in the use of colors as well; I wanted it to look colorful and light,
9. Random textures: scoobyatemysnax, pdfoots, deny1984 → I think I used the first one as well, but definitely the third one. I really like how this turned out! They're kind of opposite colors but work quite well together like this.
10. Random font: Georgia→ I never know what to write lol, so I just put her name there.
11. Random trope: You Make Me Sic → If this trope doesn't describe Ross Geller, I don't know what will. I'm not sure if I really like the text (placement), but it looked so empty without it.
12. Random remake: this icon → I dislike the coloring in the original, so I decided to retry using the picture. I like this one better!
13. Random song title: Rhapsody In Filth → When I think of filth, I think of Frank Gallagher!
14. Random inspiration icon: Icon by naginis → I like the brownish coloring of this icon, so I tried to also make my icon brownish, with the character's face in a similar way.
15. Random palette: 0 → I quite liked how this turned out, especially how well the dark blueish hue works.
16. Random art: The maid in the kitchen (Anna Ancher, 1883-1886) → This was a tough one. I eventually settled on grabbing a screencap of Bree Van De Kamp in the kitchen and in a similar position as the woman in the painting.
17. Random album cover: Alberto Radius, Ricky Portera - ...Una Sera Con Lucio → I was inspired by this gorgeous album artwork in my icon with taking another inseperable duo and a mirroring technique.
18. Random book cover: 3rd Degree (Women's Murder Club #3) by James Patterson, Andrew Gross →I focused on the position of the woman in the book cover and wanted to use that in my icon.
19. Random word: agency → I just watched Promising Young Woman and I really like how the main character had so much agency throughout.
20. Random screencap pool: One Tree Hill (caps from homeofthenutty.com) → Tried a few things, eventually went with this one.
