(no subject)
What a brilliant weekend! A 43 hour binge of food, drink, song and smokes at the notorious Farm. Only two three hour breaks--one for a hair cut and the other to grab dinner with my sister and her flatmate.
Now I'm back in DC where my apartment looks much like a refugee camp, boxes scattered about the floor and a content dog grabbing winks of sleep as Jeff Mills pumps through the speakers. Also of note is this fiery red hair I have, compliments of a Great Idea (tm) hatched whilst drunk on the porch and soberly executed Saturday afternoon with some hot water and henna. I've had some highlights put into my hair before, but never a full-on colour change... but I'm pretty happy with it especially since it all look--for the most part--natural. Of course, carpets don't match the drapes and we only managed a slight colour change with the eyebrows so just a bit orangey--but the henna was permanently dying the skin under those and I didn't want to walk into the office with auburn coloured skin to match my tomato bisque colored hair.
