i need an accident to analyse for a piece of coursework...a stonking 5000 word report :( that's as much as my final year project. moo.
anyway, i'm having a bit of bother with inspiration for this one. it's got to be one that lead to an official inquiry of some sort whether government or otherwise. i'd quite like to do some kind of big-bada-boom but i'm open to suggestion. basically the criteria are:
it was really bad
lots of people died and/or were injured
someone spent lots of money finding out what happened and wrote a long and boring report about it
it's not one of the following: piper alpha, flixborough, 7/7 bombings or 9/11 (ok not exactly an accident).
