Just a little update to let you know I'm alive.
Every so often over the last month, I've looked at my computer and thought, "I should update my livejournal". And about a half a second later, I think "Nah". But no more procrastinating. No more, I say!
The real reason: There is a tree on my deck. I thought you all should know.
If you're not a Minnesotan, the above will make a lot more sense if I tell you that there was a big storm going on a few minutes ago. The tree that was once firmly (Well, not so firmly) rooted into my yard has capsized. The top of the tree is now intruding on my deck's personal bubble.
When it comes to my life, my schedule is different. I woke up on the Monday that classes start and noticed that my schedule had been dropped. Bah! So, now I have a new one.
And it is...
Rock 'n Roll History -- 9:00-10:00 (M W F)
Intro to Theatre -- 10:00-11:00 (M W F)
British Literature -- 11:00-12:00 (M W F)
Vietnam Era -- 12:00-1:15 (M W F)
Geography -- 3:00-4:15 (M W F)
I think I like the Vietnam one the best. Today, we got into a heated debate about the draft. Good, bad, necessary, not neccesary, etc. It was fun. Me and the guy next to me started yelling at each other. It was all good, tho.
On Friday, I get to go bathing suit shopping and to a System of a Down concert. I can't wait. ^.^
In less than happy news, Katy is officially moved into her own apartment and started her classes. This wouldn't be that bad, but she has a pretty big course load. I rarely get to talk to her. I kinda miss her. But I did get to see her new apartment. It was pretty cool, actually. She has a balcony/deck thing. She can't put furniture on it because it's too unstable, but it's still nice. I finally got to meet Amanda for about 3.5 seconds. But she's pretty and I like her. Got to talk to Catti for a minute or two and I distinctly remember saying hello to Bethany.
My Geography teacher lectures by leaning against the wall and talking to the floor, wall or screen. Very little eye contact is made. Grr.
Well, I should go now.
