We laugh, we cry, we live, we die...

...we dance, we sing our song.
We need to feel there’s something here
to which we can belong.

-- We sang this song at church this past Sun. I think it really speaks to how I feel.

...A child is born among us and
we feel a special glow.

-- We had a child dedication ceremony with some very proud parents and then an enjoyable picnic.

...And with the grace of age,
we share the wonder of youth;
and we believe that growing is an answer.

An audio recording of it.

There's not enough time in my life to experience all the wonder. I read a bit of Twitter and Facebook and marvel at the lives of friends whom I love and am loved by -- people of many backgrounds and beliefs and walks of life. Hugs to those of you I can't hug in person.

I plan to do one of my favorite things - sing, not just at my church but at this upcoming open mike.
