K, so my last entry was a bit harsh.
Betty Jeane, I'm sorry if I offended you in any way. I know this can't be easy for you.
I love you girl!
I'm just very sad and shocked.
And a bit disheartened that at a time in this country where we liberal, progressive, activist people need to band together and fight for social change, one of our biggest networking mediums has been shut down. And I just don't know if other lesser confrences and caucuses can make up for that gap.
So my thoughts now are, please, don't let this family die.
We need to stick together, or we're all fucked.
We need each other.
Lets put this crap aside and figure out a way we can effect change and get through these dark times. Who knows, maybe we'll come up with something even better.
Well, I'm off to the airport. I'm going to New Orleans for the weekend. Fun little trip. Never been. Talk to you all later.
