Okay, this is how you know I am a true Red Sox fan.
With the Red Sox only 3 outs away from being up 3-0 in a 7 game series, the announcers start talking about how only 3 teams out of 236 in professional baseball, basketball and hockey have come back from a 3-0 deficit (in other words, it never happens).... and I got worried.
Because wouldn't that be the Red Sox way? To come back from a 3-0 deficit against the Damn Yankees, make baseball history in the process, and then cruise to a 3-0 lead against the best team in baseball, get everybody in Red Sox Nation all nice and comfortable, and then CHOKE in the most horrible and visceral way imaginable.
Yes, yes it would. And that's why I got nervous.
