I've been all about the karma lately.
Yesterday I was going to fill out some paperwork and I figured it would take about 30 minutes, so I only put in 30 minutes' worth of change into the parking meter. There was a lady who had also just parked and she was putting in change into her meter which was right next to mine. She put in a dime but the meter ate it. She chuckled and said she had some more change in her car. I looked down and saw I still had a nickel in my hand. So I gave it to her so she didn't have to unlock her car again. She seemed surprised but happy.
Well, my paperwork took longer than I expected and I completely forgot about the parking meter situation. So I came back about 90 minutes later, and as I came within sight of my car I remembered how I had only put in a small amount of change. My heart sank, and I began looking for that telltale parking ticket on my car window.
But there was no parking ticket! That's karma for you.
