Oprah is a flake
I used to enjoy Oprah. Back when she was real and imperfect and fat. She's become the biggest flake out there now. It's disturbing to me the way she creates these mini cults and uses her show to promote the newest quack out there trying to sell a book or an all purpose answer to all of life's questions. She's become a cult of personality herself. It's obscene.
I also find her to have become a very shallow material girl. The worst shows she has are those "my favorite things" shows. She makes me want to barf. Yes, I know she give a lot of her money to charity and does a lot of good things. Bravo for that, but her conspicuous consumption is evil. I can't imagine the things she clutters her life with in her many opulent homes.
