"tough" is the most nonsensical spelling of a word. Just look at the letters and say "tough" over and over in your mind. how the hell does it make sense?

I agree completely.

I hate when a word is spelled exactly how it should be, but you read or say it so many times that it loses meaning and you're like "wtf does that mean and why is it spelled weird?"

That happened to me with the word "freedom" while reading for government class.
