photography courses

Hi, I wanna take a beginner's photography course in the summer. Since U of T doesn't offer any photography classes, would you recommend that I take:

a) a random class somewhere (Any recommendations in the GTA?)
b) a credit course at York or Ryerson (I'm not sure if I can do that. I've never taken courses at another university before.)
