Back in November, I was lucky enough to attend my 2nd SNL taping.
I got tickets for the Dress Rehearsal show once again.
The first time I went was 2 years ago & I had gone with my sister.
So this time I invited my manager at work who had never been to a live taping before.
We had a really awesome time. I feel like we got lucky that day.
First of all, our guests were so much better than last time.
Jason Segel hosted and Florence + the Machine performed.
Jason Segel is so funny. I'll always remember him from Freeks & Geeks from back in the day.
Oh and Paul Rudd made a few guest spots, too! Along with the Muppets performing in the monologue.
The musical guest, Florence + the Machine sounded really awesome live.
Our seats were also better this time around. We sat at the top row & right in the center.
Even though next time it would be super cool to attend the live show,
the good thing about the Dress Rehearsal is you get an extra 30 minutes of skits.
Oh, & there's one more cool surprise from that day. Since we got there super early
and waited on line for a whiiiile, one of the NBC supervisors started chatting with us.
To make things short, right before we headed upstairs when the taping was about to begin,
this guy gave us 2 tickets to go to the Top of the Rock Observation Deck for that same night!
So right after the SNL taping, we went there and the view was just stunning.
The elevator took us to the 70th floor, I believe. Too bad it was windy and it was night time.
But nonetheless, it was a rad experience! It's all thanks to Lance (the supervisor dude) haha :D
Anyways, here are the photos from our fun day:
Cindy holding our tickets :)
now it's my turn to hold my ticket!
waiting on line...
taking some silly photos in the meantime
Cindy acting crazy on the elevator that took us to the Top of the Rock
so here we are all the way on the 70th floor!
too bad it's so dark and you can't really see the pretty view :(
this one came out a little better
OMG, it was so windy. My hair was all over the place lol
then we went inside cause it was too cold,
and Cindy wanted to take a few random shots of each other
haha
trying to look 'tough'
Gosh, she's good when it comes to posing.
I get too paranoid and awkward cause people are around ;X
lol yea, I didn't really know how to pose
this was her idea...it actually came out kinda cute
I look like a 'sweet little girl' hehe
:)
& as always, here's my ritual of taking pictures of my tickets!
That's all for now. I've been slacking it off lately once again :/
I haven't been online in a long time! Hopefully I'll get my act together
and update on here more often. I hope all of you guys are doing well!
*kisses*
