SNL (Dress Rehearsal) Pictures!
We had a fun time at SNL. We got there a bit earlier, hoping that we would get floor seats, but unfortunately we were seated in the balcony. I don't know how people managed to get floor seats! Maybe you have to be there super early, who knows. I was jealous! They were seated right in front of the stage...grrrr lucky bastards lol Anyways, our seats weren't that bad because the studio is small and they do skits in 3 sections - the main stage, the far right (where we were seated), and the far left. So we got some good skits that were done on 'our' side. The Black Eyed Peas were in one of them. They were only a few feet away from us! The short black guy with the mohawk (I don't know his name) was really funny. And I noticed Fergie is looking older (some say it's the effect of crystal meth, which she was addicted to a while back). Anyways, I was hoping to get a glimpse of Andy Samberg but he just appeared in 1 skit and it was all the way on the other side, so we barely saw him =( Instead, Jason Sudeikis appeared in almost EVERY skit. It was a bit frustrating...they should of given more parts to Andy. The good thing about the Dress Rehearsal show is that it's longer than the live show. It was 2 hours long. So we got an extra half hour of skits! And the Black Eyed Peas sang 3 songs...their new song "Meet Me Halfway" is not bad. The only one I dislike is "Boom Boom Pow". It's just annoying! lol Oh & of course, they didn't allow any pictures taken inside the studio, but we did take some while waiting in line downstairs at the lobby:
