vegas with your family isn't actually a bad thing...

Dad:(walking into hotel room) I'm sorry, guys. I have bad news. I lost your mother.
Marc: dude. what?
Me: Give me one guess and I'll tell you where she is.
Dad: Honey, you're right. She was abducted by aliens disguised as slot machines.

My trip to Vegas was awesome. Spending time with my family was awesome. Because our love is the best love. Word to my mama.
First we stopped at Baker, where i had the worst lasagna and garlic bread in my life. And i love lasagna and garlic bread.
Baker is also home to the largest thermometer ever:

but you can't see it in this picture.

We stayed at the Paris hotel, where every employee has a wack Parisian accent until they run out of French words to say. It's really nice looking though:

and our room had an awesome view:

We were there for my parent's 21st anniversary:

look at that. that's the longest lasting marriage on my dad's side of the family and his sisters all thought she was using him to get a green card. so take that!

and my aunt as celebrating a birthday and opening a new branch of her real estate office and having a house blessing for her office/vacation home out there. This is her son, Maxwell. cute and spoiled.

we also met up with my cousin, Vivi, out there. She bartends at the club, Risque, in the hotel we were staying at. We all went shopping, which is always fun. I'm picky so i only got one skankalicious top for the club...but damn, it's cute...oh yeah, and i bought another swimsuit.

At my aunt's launch party, she made me wear this huge pink dress.

But check the glasses, I was stylin' anyways.

I won $200 for a karaoke contest and then couldn't get away from the dudes, or moms trying to set me up with their sons after my aunt announced that i was 19 years old and "available". Thanks, aunty. haha. Then she offered to pay me $10,000 to marry her son and bring him over from the Philippines, no joke. I declined, since it's a felony.

On the way back to our hotel room, my mom and I were accosted by a friendly polite drunk man who offered to buy us drinks so he could molest us. In those words. How about no, thanks?

The next day, we had the most awesome breakfast buffet downstairs @ Le Village Buffet. I had almost lost faith in buffets until that morning. Freakin' delicious. And they had tiramisu!@!!!

and crab legs. i love my daddy.

this is me, calling Lauren and Anthony about my tiramisu. i love my tiramisu

then my parents went house shopping on a whim and my bro and i traveled The Strip. I collected a whole lot of escort cards. I think I'll put them on my wall in my room for posterity. Since my bro and i couldn't drink or gamble, we went to the Coca Cola store:

and the M&M store! Along with all the colors of M&M's there are, there are now two Star Wars mixes - the Jedi mix and the Dark Side mix. This is only cool because I am a nerd.

my brother is so freakin' cool, he has his own alter ego: Agnt13lind

Spending time on the Strip with my brother was actually pretty funny. he's too awesome. and he paid for my first oxygen bar experience. it smelled nice but it wasn't all that. Then we hung out with my cousin, Vivi. and went shopping again. I bought another swimsuit. I love Paul Frank. and a shirt that says "More Cowbell". I love sales.

Then we had dinner at this swanky French-Asian restaurant, Ah Sin, my parents didn't make it since they went to see a show at Mandalay Bay. Which was cool since dinner for three people was $87. And since I'm a waitress and my cousin is a bartender, we tipped $25. but seriously, our waiter earned it. He was awesome, and my cousin made him jump thru hoops for come California Rolls covered in melted cream cheese. But her friend did the desserts there so he hooked it up for free: two creme brulee trios and some awesome sorbets. Can you imagine, not just vanilla creme brulee, but green tea and jasmine flower creme brulee??????? blew my mind. I love my creme brulee. I'm a food bougie.

Finally my parents made it back and we went to the top of the Eiffel Tower:

But really, I went to Vegas, and all i got was two swimsuits, two shirts, and a new house:

that's what this blog is really about. we got a new house!!!

a brand spankin' new house!

and by the way, happy birthday, happy anniversary, and happy father's day. here's a new house.

but the important thing is, this is a picture of love.
