Description:
Tall and lanky with lightly tanned skin, Genma is always seen with a long toothpick in his mouth and his dark blonde hair covered by a bandanna tied with the knot resting over his forehead. He can be found dressed casually in jeans, a t-shirt and worn hiking boots with a much battered white hospital coat over his clothing in what seems to be thumbing his nose at the strict dress code for hospital stuff. He has odd colored hazel eyes that seem amused by something or another on a near constant basis.

Personality:Naturally cheerful and laidback, Genma gets along with people more often then not. Not all that social unless he‘s around close friends and family, nonetheless he will always offer a helping hand and has the

History: The youngest son in a large family, Genma's childhood dream was to be a chef like his parents but fate has an odd way of steering people onto other paths. At the age of twelve, he watched his mother begin to waste away from a disease that none of the doctors she went to were able to diagnose. Five long months later, Shiranui Andrienne, affectionally known as Andy, was dead at the age of fifty-five leaving behind a devastated husband and six children. It became the most defining moment of Genma's life. Becoming interested in medicine after his mother's death, he danced along the edge of obsession, throwing himself into studying everything about medicine and the creation of vaccinations, antitoxins and antidotes that he could get his hands on. His father interfered many times, finally forcing his son to visit a psychiatrist, worried terribly that he was going to lose his youngest child to the same disease that killed his wife. It wasn’t until after her autopsy that it was discovered she died of Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease

Journal Sample:

Tomorrow is the first day at my new job. I’m still unpacking my belongings, the cats and dogs are settling in well, better than I thought they would. Tumbleweed things it’s great to have a lot of opened boxes to jump and hide in, waiting for the right moment to leap out at one of the dogs or me. Because I brought my dogs with me, the management gave me a house with a decent sized fenced in yard. They’ll still need walks but having a yard helps.

I hope to go see my new lab tonight but with all that needs to be done in the house, I don’t think I’ll have time until the morning and rumor has it that first thing in the morning is a meeting of the staff that’s here and the bosses.

RP Sample:Scooping up a bag of dried fruits, Genma tossed it into the shopping cart before resuming his course through the grocery store, pausing to eye bags of food, fresh and dried then shook his head. He preferred an open air market where farmers hawked their goods, trying to encourage people to purchase their products.
