But no one would listen, 'cause no one else cared.
I should have stayed home.
I am pretty difficult to entertain, I admit. I don't get drunk and I don't smoke pot, both on principle and for specific health reasons. I like dancing to latino. I like listening to music that can make me feel. And after the success that was the friday night out with my colleagues from NET, yesterday evening was a total let down.
My idea of fun isn't bringing a bottle of tequila to a park and standing around with five gazillion other people while listening to techno.
If I'd wanted to do that, I'd have gone to a rave. I would have also avoided the current girlfriend of the guy I really, really, really don't have a fighting chance in hell at.
Friday evening, on the other hand, saw eight NET employees braving the rain to acquire some Indian food.
Loredana: Miky! I'm happy you're here! You can lower the age mean!
Miky: There's a red wine called "Kamasutra".
Fede: Miky, it all depends on what you do afterwards...
Miky: Fede...Have you got something going on?
Fede: Maaaaaaybe.
Miky: Spill! Now!
Laura: Mattia is going to London as a chaperone.
Valeria: *nudges me* We really need to get a move on for the Ireland school.
Miky: Loredana,*nudges* use your womanly wiles. Convince Manuel to send us to Cork to check out the new school...
Miriam: Well, of course, that is purely for professional intents.
Claudia: I think they just want to go on vacation.
Miky and Vale: Who? Us?
Silvia: I tried! I didn't even remember the name of the song! Or who sung it! I had to sing it to the salesperson! It was embarassing!
Table: *bursts out laughing*
We have tickets for Ligabue. We're seeing him on the fifth of July, from the same spot in San Siro I saw U2 from. Which means I'll be watching the screens, but...it's Ligabue!
