I'll be doing a series of posts this week, (either 2 or 3 depending on how picture happy I get) of currently announced guests for Dragon*Con 2009. Not every guest, mind you, just the ones that I'm squeeing over. :D We'll start off today with the most heavily star-studded track so far Battlestar Galactica with 7 announced guests.
WARNING: not remotely dial-up friendly
PS: Sorry if it stretches your layout, but hopefully it's worth it! :)
Battlestar Galactica:
Edward James Olmos & Mary McDonnell
For the last 5 years , EJO starred in the Sci Fi Channel's breakout hit, "Battlestar Galactica," as Admiral William Adama. In 2008 he's been preparing for his next project in which he will act, direct and produce "The Crystal Frontier," a drama that examines U.S.-Mexico border issues.
Currently McDonnell has been receiving magnificent reviews for her portrayal of President Laura Roslin in the Sci-Fi channel's hit series "Battlestar Galactica." Critics continue to call it "the best show on television." TV Guide recently called McDonnell's performance Emmy-worthy; "McDonnell juggles vulnerability and authority as a cancer-stricken president."
Aaron Douglas
Now, Aaron has stated that he will only be going as a fan, but I'm still listing him here. :)
Aaron Douglas, best known for his portrayal of Chief Galen Tyrol on Battlestar Galactica , is now moving on to his new show called The Bridge where he stars as Frank Leo, big city police officer turned president of the police association.
Kandyse McClure & Alessandro Juliani
Kandyse stared as Anastasia "Dee" Dualla, a Petty Officer Second Class in the Colonial Fleet, on Battlestar Galactica.
Alessandro Juliani is a Canadian actor and singer. He recently starred as Tactical Officer Lieutenant Felix Gaeta on the Sci Fi Channel television program Battlestar Galactica. He previously voiced the character L Lawliet in the English version of the anime series Death Note.
Kate Vernon & Richard Hatch
Most recently, Kate Vernon played the role of Ellen Tigh in the hit series "Battlestar Gallactica."
Golden Globe nominee Richard Hatch (Original and re-imagined Battlestar series) starred in Dead Mans Curve, co-authored 8 BG novels, comics, edited/wrote "SO SAY WE All", BG manga for Tokyopop, filmed SEASON OF DARKNESS and "WHO THE FRACK IS THE REAL RICHARD HATCH"
Feel free to snag any pictures you like, I cropped and colored them. :)
