Hey, I watch this too! Nice lil' show they got there. You have that Aang dude and he's getting his Avatar on. It wasn't the Naruto clone everybody thought it would be in previews, much to my relief. Yeah, the story isn't new but I like the way they tell it. I mean I REALLY like the way they tell it. The story moves very fast. Also, the characters are all appealing, I even like one of the villain characters.

As usual with cartoons, it's the writing that keeps me watching. This show is no exception, it's well written. And they aren't afraid to talk about people dying or the whole concept of death. This is good. Maybe as a whole cartoons are changing. I don't understand why death is such a taboo subject in cartoons. Death is portrayed on other programming, like sitcoms and dramas. It's not like kids don't watch those. What's the difference?

Anyway, today Aang meets with Roku who gives him his first task. Some great moments were in this episode, like when Aang hits that tar ball from midair. Go check that out!

For those of you that missed the last month of episodes, next Friday they'll all be replayed starting 7/6C.
