Alright- because the fucking icon took forever! (due to my abhorent lack-of-internet/computer skills) I no longer even care to write this post, but because I feel it is the right thing to do, I will try.
So, I should be studying, but instead I'm watching old music videos. Good fun. So I start off the Talking Heads and am reminded of David Byrne's genius~ Oh, I wish I could live inside his head for a month!
Then I'm like... "well, its night time, and you haven't seen much eye candy today..." so I go to check out Depeche Mode because I have the hots for David Gahan like no other. So, I pop on a video...
Oh God.
WTF???
OK, maybe its just me, but when I hear the song Personal Jesus, Mexican Hookers aren't the first things that spring to mind. Halo? Its a mock up of an old traveling circus where scrawny little David Gahan is "the strongest man in the universe" and there are clowns in it, and the main plot point (if you can call it that) is that the lady clown chooses Martin Gore (male clown) over David Gahan (strong man)
Again... WTF?
At least with David Byrne's videos there is method to the madness- in these... completely fucking weird.
And now I have my very own WTF icon from Depeche Mode's Personal Jesus
One thing I have to admit though- even though it is to Captain Kirk proportions- David Gahan is amazingly sexy without his shirt.
