Then I rolled a Three and a Two!
Alright. So it turns out that all of my suspicions are correct and I am in fact a complete and total nerd. That is OK, I don't really mind, it is so much better then a dweeb, wouldn't you agree?
The final straw that opened my eyes (oooh, mixed metaphors) was last night as I was playing Scrabble with my parents (I love scrabble, isn't that proof enough?)
My mother went first with the word "Hood" Then my dad followed with "Toxic." Then it was my turn... I had a "T" 3 "E"s a "D" and "R" and an "S" I shuffled them around, "Detest?" I mused. Nah... a couple of other half-assed words. Then I saw it. If I used the "D" off of my mother's word I could use every single one of my letters, on the first turn, thereby getting the 50 point bonus... the word was "Deserted" Ha! Kick Ass, right?
Well, I ended up losing the game by one measly point( 231 to 232), but it was worth it since I had never used all of my letters before.
Anyone for a game of Scrabble?
