New Campaign Pitches

As our Deadlands Reloaded campaign is nearing the finale, I am already considering the next campaign to run. Here are the pitches I've prepared for my players (translated from German).



#1 Ashen Stars (GUMSHOE) - The Bogey Conundrum

The LASER crew of the "Jolly Roger" tries to bring law and order to the chaos of the Bleed - while paying the bills and turning a profit. But behind everything looms the unsolved conundrum of the Mohilar War and how it was won - or was it? Can the LASERs solve the Bogey Conundrum and prevent the return of the Mohilar?

#2 Ashen Stars (Drama System) - Ossa One

Ossa one is the Combine's last great space station in the Bleed. Here Bleedists and Combinists mingle, LASERs and Combine fleet captains, smugglers and merchants, Nufaith prophets and desperate scientists. The protagonists try to navigate the post-Mohilar war chaos, as well as the tangled web of their own relationships.

#3 Jhendor (FUDGE) - The Sorcerer of Tiranar

Three generations have passed since the fall of the Cold King and human society is slowly recovering from the catastrophe. Much has changed, the gods' cults have fallen into obscurity and senseless struggles and the sorcerers have taken over the rule of man. But new religions are on the rise and unrest brews among the proletariat and underworld of the Seminarian cities. Can the heroes survive the erupting conflicts or even shape them to their own desires?

#4 Mortal Coil (Mortal Coil) - The Return of Magic

Magic has returned to the modern world in force. Fairies, old Gods, Angels and Demons Can the protagonists prevail and prevent the world from going up in flames? And how will they cope with their own burgeoning magic powers.

#5 Middle-Earth (The One Ring) - The Darkening of Mirkwood

Smaug the Dragon is dead and the has been Necromancer driven from Dol Guldur. Men, elves and dwarves look to the future with renewed hope. But the Shadow is not gone completely from Greenwood the Great and gathers strength in the deep glades of the forest and the darkest corners of Wilderland. Can a few doughty heroes protect the blossoming of the Free Peoples and prevent the Darkening of the forest?

#6 Night's Black Agents (GUMSHOE) - Blood is thicker than Vodka

In old Europe's shadow world of crime and conspiracies festers an ancient evil: Vampires hold the strings of power. The protagonists - themselves burned veterans of the Cold War and War on Terror - find themselves between the front lines of this different shadow war, both hunters and prey. Can they put the wooden stake through this conspiracy's heart before they fall victim to it?
