I have a lot more to write about, but here are some preliminary ones to clear out the backlog some.

Batwoman #18 - This issue was an efficient way of showing what the gang is up to after stopping Medusa. Batwoaman and Hawkfire are taking down Mr. Freeze. Hawkfire is getting help from her uncle while Batwoman is working for the DEO, but not 100% cooperating. Batman doesn't like Batwoman taking out his villains, especially if the DEO is behind it. In her personal like, Kate is still engaged to Detective Sawyer, who now knows she's Batwoman, and they are looking for an apartment together. Elsewhere, the DEO is looking to put Batwoman in her place, especially if they can't control her, and it looks like they are going to use Kate's sister to do it. Williams III is off the art, but Trevor McCarthy does a good job and the issue efficiently sets up and tells its story. I liked it.

Ghost #4 - During some fight, Ghost explains that she "died" and was sent to another dimension ruled by demons/aliens. Those demons are coming to our world by taking over people's bodies and Ghost seems bent on stopping them all. That seems like a much more enjoyable story than the murder mystery that this miniseries ended up being.

Guardians of the Galaxy Infinite Comic #1 - Dax is still known as the most dangerous being in the universe, which brings out people who want to fight him. So, he fights a trio of people here until Quill shows up and offers him a job that will give his life meaning. It's an alright story with good Oeming art.

Guardians of the Galaxy Infinite Comic #2 - This issue focuses on Rocket Raccoon who is hanging out at bars (like Dax), telling tales and trying to pick up women. Some guy mentions seeing another raccoon sometime in the past, but when Rocket catches up with the guy, some assassin kills the dude. The story is weird as it doesn't seem to tie into the Dax issue at all and ends on a big mystery. Ming Doyle's art is nice, but Rocket looks a bit ferocious for my tastes. The "Infinite Comics" format is well done here, being used well to show movement.

Saga #11 - Lying Cat lives! As The Will and his ship escape, our crew is being sucked into the newborn baby's mouth. Marko's mother offers to give Marko and the baby the helmets so they can teleport away, but Marko burns them in the engines and pushes the ship into hyperspeed. The ship can't handle it, so Marko's father sacrifices himself to hold the ship together. It's an emotional scene, but since we knew he was doomed, it wasn't much of a shock, especially after last issue's "death" of Lying Cat.
