Millar and McNiven's Nemesis #3 - Ridiculous. I'm debating in a good way or in a bad way.
The Amazing Spider-Man #643 - Another good story mixing Peter's life with Spider-Man's, though I feel bad for Carlie looking for Peter not knowing that he's Spidey. I'm actually worried for the characters and I wonder how Spider-Man will get out of this situation.
Avengers & The Infinity Gauntlet #2 - A bit better than the first issue as it's straight to the character driven comedy, but it's not as good as Atomic Robo. I think that's because too much time is spent with US Archer and his space truck.
The Boys: Highland Laddie #2 - Hughie is still in Scotland getting in touch with his childhood friends and (possibly) stopping a minor smuggling ring. This storyline seems really minor and inconsequential compared to the series proper.
Criminal TPB vol. 04 - I really dug this volume of Criminal. The main character, while not completely innocent, is outside of the world of crime that he's been thrown into, which is unlike the other Criminal arcs. I also like the use of the main character's cartoon character as a plot device. Good shit.
Locas: The Maggie and Hopey Stories HC vol. 01 - A great slice-of-life story spanning years and watching the characters grow and change over time. The start of the "series" is a little fantastical (dinosaurs and overthrowing governments, oh my), but it gets really good when it settles down in Hoppers (and beyond). There's genuinely surprising moments throughout, too, that fundamentally change the dynamics of the characters. One big complaint I have is how hard it is to tell the cast apart, especially the secondary characters. Everyone has dark hair and Latio features, plus constantly changes hair styles and the book keeps jumping into flashback. It's a bit hard to piece together.
The Marvelous Land of Oz HC - Skottie Young drawing an adaptation of the second Oz book. No more needs to be said.
