In the news, the Vatican has "decried" the "Religion of Health".
http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory?id=508243 This is exactly why I hate theology. I am not sure whether or not Confucianism is a religion, or if Taoism is a religion, or if Bhuddism is really a religion. But Health is not a religion.
To call "Health" a "Religion" is to make the word "religion" meaningless, like so many of the other terms used by theologians, who expect us to literally bow down to their pronouncements. But unlike the scientists, who rigorously define their terms and use them with precise meaning, the pronouncements of theologians mean nothing because their words mean nothing.
As for what the Vatican is really saying, I don't have a clue. I don't think they are really saying anything.
