Sakura Con and JRock
Just got back from Sakura Con 2010 in Seattle Washington and I think this was our best year ever^^
We had so much fun!! three, well, four days for us, of cosplaying went by so fast!! we had lot of requests for photos so we spend lot of time posing for photos, it was pretty crazy^^
I actually didn't have access to a computer up there so I thought I'll miss looking at Gackt's pix and news but I noticed there was a JRock MV room, which I hadn't noticed previous years which makes sense since I just got into(well semi) JRock thanks to Gackt-tou only from like last August(?) so I go into the room and OMG~!! they had Gackt music videos, I was so happy, they had to cover alot of JRock bands so when I requested Gackt videos they played, Jesus, yami no shuuen(returner), I know my love can never reach you and vanilla, I was craving Gackt by then so I was very happy to get my Gackt fix that day, I was starting to twitch^^ cause you know Gackt is my drug and I need my fix everyday and I've gone without my fix for two days already by then........
They also had JRock101 panel so I had to check it out. They basically covered all different styles/types of JRock which of course I can't really remember now since they covered alot^^" but Malice Mizer came up, L'arc-en-ciel and of course Gackt and yeah, Miyavi, oh, Miyavi's coming to Seattle for a concert in June so fans there were very excited about that. And I'll say there were about 12 people that showed up for this JRock101 panel and about half was Gackt fan including myself, yes! Gackt rule~
Next year I'm totally doing JRock MV room again!!
Oops! almost forgot there was a Gackt cosplayer walking around which I totally missed, that convention center is HUGE~, every year I feel like I miss so much but Gackt cosplayer this year, I can just go to a corner and cry, damn!! anyway she was pretty good too, I saw a picture, she was cosplaying Gackt from his Malice Mizer days so that got me thinking I might cosplay Gackt next year one day, I'm actually thinking his RR2 tour look with the red arm badge and of course that metal scratches(?) on his face and nose....well, I'm thinking about it, if I'm gonna do it I want to do it right you know? I don't want people to look at me and say/think "omg what was she thinking???"
It's actually very late here(3:30 AM) so I will post pix tomorrow.........
